MOUSE Squad Funding Sources

MOUSE Squad Mini-Grants

Support for MOUSE Squad of California (MSCA) expansion is provided by a nonprofit designated fund from Silicon Valley Community Foundation, set up by a private donor, to Aspiranet for qualified California schools.
Due Date: Friday, November 21, 2008
Grant:
$1,000 for first year and $500 for renewal years of the program
Eligibility: Public upper elementary, middle, and high schools in California
Award Criteria: Preference will be given to schools with significant levels of underserved students. Schools are encouraged to form clusters of two or more schools in their geographic area. Applicant schools should demonstrate the ability to provide logistical and personnel support necessary for a successful MOUSE Squad Student Tech program.
Application: If you are eligible and wish to apply for this grant, please select "yes" on Question 13 in the Application form.

Target Foundation Grants

Purpose: Target will award 5,000 Field Trip Grants of up to $800 each during the 2008-2009 school year.

Sun Academic Excellence Grant Program

Dreyer's Foundation Rocky Road Community Bus Program

Due Date: Ongoing
Grant: Free transportation for school field trips. The Rocky Road Bus is available free of charge for short field trips ranging up to 150 miles in radius; preference is given to youth- oriented groups. The Rocky Road Bus may be reserved up to two months in advance. Get your applications in early for this school year!
